Fixing Trello - Github connection in Firefox

We use Trello, at some point they updated their Github integration and you needed to add localstorage permissions for it to keep working. I got into a loop with the error that it couldn't authenticate because localstorage was disabled. As a Firefox user I found the help article starting with "this article shows how to fix that in Chrome" rather unhelpful. Though there are firefox instructions at the bottom (which didn't work for me).

What actually did work for me:

Adding github.trello.com and github.trello.services to "Exceptions for enhanced tracking protections."
Under "Cookies and Site Data" clicking on "Manage Data", then searching for trello and github and deleting anything I found. Then clicking Save.
Logging into Trello again.
Got prompted by Trello to go through the Github authorization workflow.
